#The Assoomers Casino Heist (Epiphany, Ivy Grim, Meliander, Tadhg, Mr. Smith, Duchess) Inside a grand casino there sits a beautfiul, blonde russian woman her name is Duchess and she is eyeing Tadhg from across the room. He is so oblivious that he doesn’t notice her spying on him. “You lost madam. Care to gamble some more?” The game master says. “Idi nahui, I’ll never get that money back! No matter.” Duchess says. So that’s where he is hiding for now, she thinks to herself. Tadhg briefly glances on her direction only to find out that there is nobody there. Meanwhile outside the casino... “We shouldn’t be here...” Ivy pipes up. “It’s fine, quickly in and quickly out. The plan is perfect to a tee.” Epiphany answers confidently. “But think about it for--” Ivy speaks again before being shushed by Epiphany. “I know you have your reservations but we have to do this.” said Epiphany. The three women are standing in front of a casino, one that belongs to Mr. Smith. The group heads towards the entrance where a bouncer is in front of the door. His nonchalant demeanor is seen through his tinted black glasses. The bouncer lets the three girls enter the building. The bouncer takes a cursory long look at Meliander in particular. She puts on her hoodie tighter around her. They enter a huge lobby where a lot of people are playing poker, cards, slot machines. The people there start chatting about the alien in the room. “An alien” said one. “look at her nose.” said another. She really stands out but the she doesn’t seem to be disturbed as she ignores the attention and continous on to an empty table where a card game is being held. “Ahh, I knew there was somethin’ brightening the day for me.” There they are greeted by Tadhg. “Nice to see ya three here, what brings ya three here might I ask?” “Top of the morning to ya!” Meliander beams as she proceeds to hug him. “Top of the morning to ya too, Meli-” He says as all the air in his lungs seems to blow away from the force of her hug. “Ohh, These ones are delighted to have met you in such a fine establishment!” Meliander continues. “Aye, well I work for Mr. Smith of course so I hang around his establishments when I have the time and it’s I should say ‘craic’ ta be here in the casino.” Tadhg says. “Let me give ya a tour of the place.” “Good to see you her cus.” Ivy beams, seeing his cousin has helped to soothe her nerves if only a little. “Likewise, good ta see ya too.” Tadhg replies. They then decided to play some cards with Meliander and Ivy not even knowing how to play. “Ohhh this one is so delighted, look Ivy, colorful biscuits!” Meliander takes a bite of the chip and spits it out. “Blegh, that one tasted like rotten gorblag.” “Those aren’t for eating Meli.” Ivy Laughs. “These are used for gambling and playing with them.” “Right then, we should go straight ahead to the playing of this wonderful game.” Meliander replies. As they play, Tadhg can’t help but think that the three women are here for more than just idle chatter and gambling. Then he looks towards Epiphany and he quickly imagines a scenario with her. “Oh my hero has come for my rescue!” Epiphany swoons in his arms, her eyes dazzling brightly. “Anything for ya my dear.” Tadhg beams with excitement. “’Tis but the least ah could do for ya.” Tadhg quickly comes to reality as Epiphany clicks her fingers at him. “Judging by your blank look, you have been daydreaming. Although I don’t know what it is you’re daydreaming about.” Epiphany says “Let us head to more important matters. I can assume that your boss is not around at this time judging by your more lax attitude.” “Aye, he’s not here but why would ya be looking for him?” Tadhg asks, perplexed. “We have heard rumors that your boss has been into shady dealings.” Epiphany whispers. “Well shadier than usual, we suspect that he has dealings with human trafficking related to the Midnighters. Know anything? Well I assume you do. If even a little bit. Your boss’s main office is on the second floor which is where he keeps most of his files. We need to see those files, receipts, and ledgers if there are.” “Yerrah, Ya got all that just by looking at me or did ya just take a wild guess?” Tadhg seems to be cornered. “I can't just betray my boss now can I?” Seeing as Tadhg doesn't want to help the group, Epiphany thinks of another plan. "Give us a tour of the place then." She says. "Gladly." Tadhg replies. "Right this way." There are two pathways that they could take. The right hallway leads to an elevator while the left leads to another hallway. Epiphany then distracts Tadhg with a wild story while the Ivy and Meliander go to the elevator. Just as they are going to turn on the corner, they met a group of teenagers on the way to the elevator too. There, Epiphany sees her chance and decides to blend in among the teenagers. Then she went to the elevator before Tadhg could realize that he was left behind. The three women rallied on the second floor where Epiphany has deduced that the main office is there. They head deeper into the hall. There they find a big door. “No time for formalities.” Meliander readies her punching arm to bust open the door. “Hold on, let us use a more discrete way of entering, shall we?” Epiphany brings out a key from her pocket and puts the key on the door then she unlocks the door. “I have a bad feeling about this.” said Ivy whose looking like she is ready to run away, sweat hanging from her brows. Epiphany wastes no time and opens up drawers, scurrying through each folders with haste while Meliander and Ivy set out to watch for any suspicious people. “Aha!” Epiphany shouts in triumph as she picks up a blue folder and reads the contents of it. “Smuggled firearms, real estate fraud, tech stealing. I knew it and many more heinous crimes under his belt.” “Someone’s coming!” Ivy whispers. “May we now run away!?” Meliander readies her fists. (In Epiphany’s head, judging by the sound of the footsteps the person walking is wearing boots and I assume the person walking is a man judging by the strength of the footsteps. The stride declares a confident man. In summary, it could be the big boss himself.) “We must go now.” Epiphany clings to the blue folders. As Mr. Smith opens the door, he is surprised by three women barging out of the door and crashing into him. He falls to the floor as the group runs away. He quickly regains his composure and gives chase to the three women. Just ahead, they seemed to have ran towards a dead-end. Meliander punches a big hole in the wall and then she carries Ivy and Epiphany on each of her arms. “Time to go now friends!” She then lunges into the air and out of the building while Ivy screams her lungs out. Before Mr. Smith could do anything the three scurried off from their van so he just stands in the big hole and staring menacingly at the van. “hehe, I’ll volunteer ta fix the wall, heh.” Tadhg sheepishly says. “You do have some... interesting friends.” Mr. Smith replies.
