# Basic guide on How to Priest ->The Priest mantra:<- ->***You can't support when you're dead.***<- [TOC2] ## Skill Explanation ### ->Acolyte Skills<- - !~**Heal**~! One of two skills in your entire arsenal that's actually meant for healing. It targets a single player, healing them for a considerable amount. Every 8 points of combined INT + Base Level gives you a bonus to the amount you heal for. This skill can also be used offensively, a technique commonly known as 'Healbombing'. By using the '/noshift' or '/ns' command, you can target Undead property enemies in order to deal half of the heal amount as holy damage which is further modified by elemental level, meaning that for all intents and purposes, you end up doing the same damage as the heal amount against anything that's Undead 3 and 4. Using Heal on a monster that is not Undead property will result in you simply healing them. This can come in handy when you actually don't want to kill a certain target, for example, a Boss' minion. - !~**Ruwatch**~! Creates a 5x5 area around yourself that reveals any Cloaked and Hidden enemy while dealing a bit of holy magic damage. Since this is an instant cast skill with no delay, it can be used to great effect to get you out of hit-lock situations. In PvP scenarios, it's recommended to use the Magician's Sight skill instead (granted by Horong Card), as it will not consume the 1-hit double damage from Lex Aeterna. - !~**Cure**~! Cures a single target from Silence, Confusion and Blind. You cannot Cure yourself from the Mute effect, as that prevents the user from casting skills in the first place. You can opt out of this skill if you want, since Green Potions cure all of the aforementioned status effects plus Poison, however it's never bad to have for the forgetful. If used against Undead property monsters it will cause Confusion on them. - !~**Aqua Benedicta**~! Each cast creates 1 Holy Water. You need to be standing on shallow water for it to work. (Sage's Deluge and Ninja's Water Evasion count as well). Both its cast and after-cast delay can be greatly reduced by the help of a friendly Bard's Magic String/Poem of Bragi, make sure to unequip your weapon and drink a Concentration Potion so as to expedite the process. Comodo town is a good spot to find your water source. Consumes 1 Empty Bottle per cast. - !~**Increase Agility**~! The bread and butter of Priest along with Blessing. This skill increases the target's AGI by 12 at max level while also giving a very noticeable increase to movement speed. It will fail if you cast it while having less than 16 HP. In mobbing scenarios, you can cast this skill on monsters with the help of the '/ns' command, making it easier for you and your partner to gather a larger mob. - !~**Decrease Agility**~! The opposite of Increase Agility. This skill is chance based and it will dispel the effect of skills such as Increase Agility, Two-Handed Quicken, Cart Boost, Adrenaline Rush and Spear Quicken. Especially effective against Whitesmiths in PvP scenarios as they will need to cast their Cart Boost twice to cancel the effect and boost themselves again. Thanks to its short cast speed it can also be used to grab the attention of 'Cast Sensitive' monsters without dealing damage to them. - !~**Blessing**~! Possibly one of the best skills at your disposal. It increases a target's STR, INT and DEX by 10 at max level while also curing Curse and Stone Curse status. If used against an Undead or Demon race monster, it will instead cut their INT and DEX in half, regardless of level. This can be incredibly effective against certain enemies such as Anubis or Banshee, as it will lower their magic damage and hit rate to manageable levels. - !~**Teleport**~! Instantly teleports you to a random place within the map you're in. Level 1 skips the text confirmation, while level 2 can take you to your save point. This skill is disabled in many places and dungeons. Make sure you don't place this near important skills, or you may end up TPing away from the party during a crucial moment... - !~**Warp Portal**~! By using the '/memo' command you can select the exact spot you're standing on to memorize, you can then cast this skill on the floor to create a warp towards that location, which any player may use up to 8 times. There's a limit of 4 locations you can memorize at any given time, including your save point. By using /memo in a different location, you can override the last entry on your list. While you can't cast this skill directly under another player, you can cast it on the fixed cells players spawn in inside cities and other locations, but don't do this. /memo is usually disabled inside dungeons and near certain Boss maps. It consumes 1 Blue Gemstone per cast. - !~**Pneuma**~! This skill creates a 3x3 area centered on the cell you cast it on, negating all ranged physical damage for 10 seconds. You can't overlap this skill with itself, so good positioning is required to cover a wide area. In moving parties, ideally you'll place this skill not on top of players (usually melee), but right behind them so the Pneuma isn't also covering the monster, accidentally nullifying your teammates' ranged damage. This skill will fail if the target cell is already being protected by a Safety Wall. - !~**Angelus**~! This skill is bad and you should feel bad for taking it further than level 2. It has 10 levels, and at 10 it gives all party members +50% more Soft Defense. In this game there exists two types of defense - Hard Defense, which is granted by equipment and some cards, and Soft Defense, which is granted by your VIT. Hard Def is percentual, while Soft Def is flat. Take for example the value 40+100 which you may see on your Status Screen, the value to the left (40) means you will receive 40% less damage from a non-crit physical attack, while the value to the right (100) will reduce the incoming damage by a flat 100 once all other resistance layers have been calculated. The problem with Soft Defense and this skill is this: Soft Defense is reduced by the amount of monsters that are attacking you. (-5% per monster starting at 3). For any squishy job like Sniper or Wizard this skill is useless, as they generally don't take more than 30~ points of VIT (So that would be +15 Soft Defense...) and any mobber or tank job that could make use of this skill will have more than 3 monsters on them, rendering their Soft Defense null. Don't take this further than level 2, forget it exists, don't even put it on your bar, you have way, way better skills to use those points on. Also it's pure ear rape when someone uses it on a full party. - !~**Divine Protection and Demon Bane**~! These two skills are generally filler skills, as the bonuses they provide are marginal at best. Regardless of that, you still have to take them as pre-requisites. - !~**Signum Crusis**~! Cast a Holy Cross affecting the entire screen which reduces the Hard Defense of Demon and Undead monsters at a chance (Bosses and MvPs included). Since this skill affects the entire screen, you can use it to 'tap', ie, interact with all the monsters on the screen regardless of their race, increasing the experience they grant to the party without actually having to target them manually. While it is an excellent skill and incredibly useful against high defense targets, the 10 level requirement makes it a bit restrictive in its use. As an Acolyte, you can forgo Decrease Agility and Cure in order to grab the pre-requisites for this skill and simply choose level 1 for its tapping capabilities. - !~**Holy Light**~! The only single target holy property damaging skill you have that can actually affect things other than Undead property monsters. Generally the damage is not very good unless you are under the effects of a Soul Linker's Priest Link skill. Since this is the only skill in your kit that can deal unconditional damage, it can be used to lure Passive monsters to follow you. In PvP scenarios, it will dispel the effects of Kyrie Eleison on the target before dealing damage. You need to complete a short quest in order to get it, or wait until you rebirth to be given it for free. ### ->Priest Skills<- - !~**Kyrie Eleison**~! Creates a barrier on the target that can sustain up to 30% of the target's max HP or block up to 10 hits in total, whichever happens first. Kyrie Eleison and Assumptio are mutually exclusive, meaning that if you cast one on a target, it will dispel and override the other. Since the barrier prevents the damage from reaching the target in the first place, it can be very effective in protecting your Wizard partner from having their cast interrupted or allowing a hit-locked party member to move away from the mob. - !~**Gloria**~! Adds a bonus 30 LUK to you and the party for a duration. While small, you can also see this skill as another one of your defensive layers, as 30 LUK translates to +3% Perfect Dodge, decreasing the overall damage your party receives from regular attacks. Other than that, any crit, falcon or crafting oriented build will be happy to see you pick this skill. - !~**Magnificat**~! By casting this skill you double the amount of natural HP and SP recovery for everyone in the party. Incredibly simple, incredibly powerful. Make sure to cast this skill while everyone is on the screen to avoid leaving someone unaffected by it. Casting this skill while another instance of it is still active will refresh the duration, but only if the skill level is the same or superior to the one already in effect, meaning that if there's two Priests on the party, one with level 3 and another with level 5, the one with level 3 cannot refresh the duration of the skill or override it with its own until it completely runs out. - !~**Slow Poison**~! As the name quite aptly puts it, this skill slows the effects of the Poison status. This is bad, worse than Angelus. The only thing this skill does is prevent the HP loss from Poison, it doesn't prevent its DEF-lowering effect or even allow for natural SP Regeneration to continue. What you do for this skill is ignore it, and instead get a Clip with a PoPoring card which grants you the Thief's skill Detoxify, allowing you to simply remove the Poison from a target. - !~**Status Recovery**~! Cancels the effects of Stun, Frozen and Stone Curse on a target. When used against monsters, this skill will reset their behavior, for Aggressive monsters, they will lose their target and immediately aquire another, for Minion monsters (MvP and Boss slaves), they will generally return towards their master unless attacked again during their trip back, for Passive monsters, they will stop attacking and go back to being Passive. This last behaviour is generally exploited against the MvP 'Golden Thief Bug' which is naturally a passive monster, allowing you to attack it with powerful water-element magic only to then quickly return it to its passive state. If used against an Undead monster, it will also affect them with Blind. - !~**Turn Undead**~! Attacks an Undead monster with Holy property magic and has a chance of instantly dealing 100% of their remaining HP as damage. The chance of instantly killing a monster is increased by 0.1% for every point of combined INT, LUK and your character's base level, with a further increase depending on the monster's remaining HP, for a maximum chance of 70%. Since this skill can instantly kill a monster regardless of your equipment or level, compounded by one of the monsters with the highest HP/EXP ratios being of the Undead property, it has become the go-to skill for solo leveling, with tailor-made builds to go along. In PvP scenarios this skill can also be used against players wearing an Evil Druid Card, but unless they are under the effects of Lex Aeterna, the damage done will generally not be enough to instantly kill them. Turn Undead also has a huge after-cast delay of 3 seconds whether the skill fails to kill or not, for this reason it is advised to carry Fly Wings with you as they bypass the after-cast delay, allowing you to teleport away when in danger. - !~**Resurrection**~! Revives the target, higher levels increase the base HP they recover upon being resurrected, while also decreasing the casting time (instant at level 4). Consumes 1 Blue Gemstone per cast. In PvE scenarios, if a player dies while wearing an Evil Druid Card they cannot be resurrected by this skill. This skill can also be used against Undead property enemies to similar effect as Turn Undead of the same level, however this is generally not advised as the Gemstone cost will quickly add up. And just as Turn Undead, in PvP scenarios this skill can also instantly kill a player wearing an Evil Druid Card. - !~**B.S Sacramenti**~! Endows every player's armour with the Holy element within a 3x3 selectable area. Requires 2 (1 in our server) acolyte class (or superior) standing to each side of the caster for this skill to work. If used against Undead or Demon they will be damaged by half of your heal amount. Unequipping the armour will not dispel the effect. This is one of those skills that when they work, they work great, as turning your armour to Holy not only means you're immune to Holy damage, but also receive a very nice 25% resistance to elemental attacks. In PvP scenarios, if used against a player wearing an Evil Druid Card, their armour's element will be overwritten and thus become vulnerable to both Freeze and Stone Curse. Another application would be turning yours and your party's armor to Holy element right before entering a pre-cast in War of the Emperium (WoE) for that extra resistance. In which case, you also have Aspersio to turn player's physical elemental attacks into Holy. - !~**Mace Mastery**~! Adds flat +30 damage at max level to your attacks. This is pretty much a meme skill even for Battle Priests but hey, every bit of damage counts for them. - !~**Increase SP Recovery**~! Increases your natural SP recovery and amount healed by SP recovery items by 10% per level. The additional SP recovered comes between 10 second ticks and you must not be moving for it to activate. You'll need level 4 as pre-requisite for other skills, and this is more than enough to maintain your SP pool, especially when coupled with Magnificat. - !~**Lex Divina**~! Silences the target at a chance, can be resisted by the target depending on their VIT stat. If used against a target that's already Silenced, it will cure it instead. There are several monsters in the game which are incredibly susceptible to being Silenced which renders them quite helpless, some of these include Anubis and Banshee, as their base VIT is almost non-existent. Against monsters with higher VIT it is not worth using. If you opt out of taking Cure as an Acolyte, you can use this skill instead to cure them by holding Shift before using it. - !~**Lex Aeterna**~! Targets a single enemy with an status that causes the next attack against them to deal double damage. You can't use this skill against a target that's Frozen, or that has entered the second stage of Stone Curse. This skill effectively doubles the DPS of anything that's hitting the target as long as you can keep up with their attacks, usually achieved under the effect of the Bard's skill Magic Strings/Poem of Bragi. - !~**Magnus Exorcismus**~! Creates a 7x7 section on the floor that deals massive Holy elemental magic damage to any Undead element and Demon race monster that enters it. Not only it has a massive cast time, but also quite a punishing after-cast delay, but even still this is one of the strongest magic attacks at your disposal. However this is not generally a skill that you pick up as a Support Priest, as you will need to build around it to get the most out of it. Costs 1 Blue Gemstone per cast. - !~**Imposito Manus**~! Grants the target +5 ATK for every level for a duration, with a max of +25 ATK at Lv5. The damage increase from this skill is quite noticeable and it's comparable to the effect of the Porcellio Card, except it doesn't lower your DEF and it neither takes up your Armour card slot. - !~**Suffragium**~! Targets a single player other than yourself so the next skill they use will have their casting reduced by 15% per level, 45% at max. For this skill to work the best you have to preemptively use it as the target is preparing to cast their next skill, it will last 10 seconds (at max) until the effect goes away by itself. A very good skill to have when you're partying up with a Wizard without an accompanying Bard. - !~**Sanctuary**~! This is the only other healing tool at your disposal outside of Heal. It creates a 5x5 area on the ground that continually heals both players and monsters inside. Costs 1 Blue Gemstone per cast. The healing amount increases up to Level 7, while the amount of targets and the duration of the skill increase up to level 10. Generally speaking you will always stop at level 7, as that's the point you get the most heal per tick. While the healing amount is fixed per level, it can be affected by items such as Healing Staff, Diabolus Ring and Diabolus Robe. Since this skill is AoE and a continuous effect, it can be incredibly effective at healing any chip damage your party may take when fighting against Bosses. If an Undead property or Demon race monster enter the healing area of this skill, they will be pushed back 2 cells and be dealt a small amount of damage, while eating up heal ticks. A neat trick you can do when wanting to heal a tank without healing the monsters being tanked, is to place the Sanctuary exactly 2 cells behind them, so the outer edge of the Sanctuary touches them and not the monsters. This skill is the only skill that can heal an Emperium during WoE. - !~**Aspersio**~! Endows the target's weapon with the Holy element. Consumes 1 Holy Water per cast. If used against an Undead property monster or a player wearing an Evil Druid Card it will instead deal a small amount of damage to them. This skill has a wide range of uses, both offensively and defensively depending on how you use it. In PvP scenarios it overrides the target's elemental attribute, something very useful to do when you're defending your castle's Emperium, or when you are under the effect of B.S Sacramenti or the Angeling Card. Offensively it can be used to scout out potential Evil Druid Card wearers, in which case you can then Endow your allies' weapons with Holy to deal 50% more damage and bypass the target's Raydric/Noxious card. - !~**Safety Wall**~! Possibly one of the most broken skills at your disposal. It creates a 1x1 barrier on the targetted cell that protects anyone standing on it for a certain amount of hits depending on level. While the casting time also decreases with level, it achieves the fastest time at level 7, with further levels only increasing the amount of hits prevented and the duration of the barrier. In any case, leveling this skill to 10 will mean an effective 37,5% more hits prevented per cast, easing the overall cost of the gems spent when tanking. While this skill will fail if cast on a cell that is already being protected by a Safety Wall, you can immediately recast it on it as soon as the first instance fades away, effectively creating an impenetrable wall as long as your cast is fast enough to refresh the wall between enemy attacks. You can't place this skill within the 3x3 area affected by Pneuma, but you can place it right beside another instance of Safety Wall. In PvP scenarios you can use this restriction to your advantage in order to block another player's capacity of blocking either ranged or melee damage by using the other skill near them. It consumes 1 Blue Gemstone per cast. - !~**Redemptio**~! The Chad skill that hopefully you won't ever need to use, but if you succesfully pull it off when needed it will feel like heaven. Reduces your current HP and SP to 1 while incurring in an EXP loss penalty similar as if you had died in order to resurrect all party members in the screen with 50% of their HP back. Each party member revived with this skill reduces the EXP loss by 0.2%, meaning that beginning at 5 members, you won't actually lose EXP, granted you don't die by a stray hit while being at 1 HP. For this reason it's recommended you always carry an Yggdrassil Seed or Yggdrassil Berry in your intentory, as these items heal you back to 50% and 100% respectively. This is also the only skill that can actually resurrect a player wearing an Evil Druid Card. You need to complete a short quest in order to get it. ### ->High Priest Skills<- - !~**Assumptio**~! The most important skill you have as a High Priest and why most people rush their Priesthood with Anubis to get it. Against monsters it cuts the damage received by 50%, while in PvP it cuts it by 33%. As a High Priest it is your job to always keep this skill active, at all times. If a player dies, this is usually the first skill you use after resurrecting them. Using this skill on a target affected by Kyrie Eleison will replace that effect with Assumptio, likewise, using Kyrie Eleison on a target affected by Assumptio will override Assumptio with Kyrie. While this skill can't be cast inside a Castle during WoE, its effects remain active inside them if you enter the Castle under the effect of this skill. Lower levels of this skill have shorter duration of its effects but faster casting time speed, while higher levels have increased effect duration but longer cast speed. (Normally the levels are selectable in other servers but you don't have the choice here, DEV please fix this) - !~**Basilica**~! It creates a 5x5 area centered around the caster that prevents any target inside the area to be attacked or damaged in any way, while also disabling all skill usage inside it. Cannot be used inside WoE castles. A very strange skill indeed. There are not many uses for this skill other than creating a safe space where the party can chill for the duration, waiting on their SP regen. - !~**Meditatio**~! Increases your Max SP, SP Regeneration and your Heal amount every level, up to 10. This is not really a skill you would pick on this particular server with its increased SP Recovery, but can be taken still if your goal is to have a particularly big Heal amount nearing the 3000~ range, or if you have taken so little base INT in favor of VIT and DEX so as to have SP Regen issues. - !~**Spiritual Thrift**~! Reduces SP cost of skills by 4% every level up to a max of 20%. Generally speaking this is not a skill you would pick as a support Priest, as its requirement skills are too strict to even consider in the first place (Both Demon Bane and Mace Mastery at level 10). You can safely skip this without any remorse. ### ->Recommended Skills to take as Acolyte<- - Heal Lv10 - Increase Agility Lv10 - Divine Protection Lv5 - Blessing Lv10 - Ruwatch Lv1 - Teleport Lv2 - Warp Portal Lv4 - Pneuma Lv 1 - Aqua Benedicta Lv1 - Angelus Lv2 Assuming you change into a Priest at job level 50, which you absolutely should, this leaves you with 3 free points to spend on anything of your choosing. Options are Level 1~2 Decrease Agility and Level 1 Cure, or Level 3 Demon Bane so you can later get Signum Crusis for 1 additional point. We take Divine Protection Lv5, Aqua Benedicta Lv1 and Angelus Lv2 simply because of pre-requisites for other skills. ### ->Recommended Skills to take as Priest<- This will heavily depend on the type of Priest you're going with, whether it's meant to level killing Anubis or by being full Support. As this guide is predominantly meant for Support types, I will first write what skills I consider essential for this type, while later I'll add other types. Full Support Priest - Resurrection Lv4 - Status Recovery Lv1 - Magnificat Lv3 - Gloria Lv2 - Imposito Manus Lv5 - Suffragium Lv3 - Aspersio Lv4 - Kyrie Eleison Lv4 (Pre-requisites) - Lex Divina Lv5 (Pre-requisites) - Lex Aeterna Lv1 - Increase SP Recovery Lv4 (Pre-requisites) - Sanctuary Lv 3 (Pre-requisites) - Safety Wall Lv7 - **Ragna/v/ exclusive**: Canto Candidus Lv3 Total Points so far: 49 - **Ragna/v/ exclusive**: Clementia Lv ??? As you can see, the Priest's skill point selection is incredibly tight, and you will have to make a hard decision on the next point. Which skill should I not take? You can opt out of having Clementia, and instead buff your party the old fashioned way, casting Blessing on everyone one by one, individually, or possibly drop completely out of Gloria and 1 extra point of Magnificat to get Clementia in. You could also choose not to pick Suffragium if your group has easy access to a Bard, or drop Safety Wall completely for more levels of Sanctuary. Ultimately this decision will be left to your playstyle and group. ### ->Recommended Skills to take as High Priest<- Now that we have more skill points to work with, it's possible to acquire a larger amount of skills at higher levels. - Assumptio Lv5 - Imposito Manus Lv5 - Aspersio Lv4 - Status Recovery Lv1 - Increase SP Recovery Lv4 - Resurrection Lv4 - Lex Divina Lv5 - Lex Aeterna Lv1 - Kyrie Eleison Lv4 - Magnificat Lv3 - Gloria Lv2 - Safety Wall Lv10 - Sanctuary Lv7 - Signum Crusis Lv1 (We opt out of Cure and Decrease Agi as Acolyte in this case) - **Ragna/v/ exclusive**: Canto Candidus Lv3 - **Ragna/v/ exclusive**: Clementia Lv3 This is 63 points total, the rest of the points can be spent on taking back skills like Cure, Decrease Agility or Suffragium if you'd like, or by maxing other skills such as Aspersio, Magnificat and Gloria. ## Stats ### Acolyte Since we have easy access to resets in our server you can choose to go full INT in your Acolyte stage for more Heal amount, SP Regen and SP pool. Even if you're not meaning to solo level while Healbombing, you can still go INT most of the way while taking a token amount of VIT and DEX. INT:90~99 VIT/DEX: Rest ### Priest If you choose to go full Support from the get-go, I would recommend taking a good amount of DEX, as your cast time will be the key factor when supporting your party, while keeping INT and VIT balanced. However this is a choice no two Priests will ever agree on, and some will often opt to take higher amounts of INT for a much better Heal capacity instead of DEX. Option 1: INT: 60~70 VIT: 50~60 DEX: 90~99 Option 2: INT:90~99 VIT:50~60 DEX:60~70 If you would instead choose to go full Dog Hunting first (Farming Anubis), please check the Dog Fucking section for more info. ### High Priest A good support High Priest is one that doesn't die, so you better take your VIT to facilitate that. STR:10~20 for carry weight VIT:90~100 total VIT for immunity to Stun and other bad effects. DEX:90~99 at base. Casting your skills as fast as possible will prevent unnecessary deaths. INT:30~50 We don't really need that much INT as High Priests, your Heal amount can be compensated by items such as Healing Staff or by taking some points into Meditatio. Either way, if you find your healing to be lacking, you can lower some of your VIT or DEX in order to get a bit more INT, and while I wouldn't really recommend it, at the end of the day it's up to your playstyle. Note: Just as you would reach 100 total VIT for Stun, Poison, Silence and Bleeding immunity, you may want to hit 100 INT total to reach Sleep immunity if your build does not allow for a **[Nightmare Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4127)**. Remember that by saying 'total', it refers to your base value plus the bonuses from buffs and equipment added together. ## Equipment ### ->Recommended Equipment<- >Weapon - !~**[Mace [4]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=1505) with 4 [Fabre Cards](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4002) **~! We pick a Mace over a Rod because this way we can be affected by a Blacksmith's Adrenaline, increasing our attack speed. - !~**[Survivor's Rod (Dex) [1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=1618) with [Drops card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4004)**~! A budget version of this rod can be bought in Lighthalzen City from store vendors. It doesn't have an slot and it only gives 2 DEX, but it still gives bonus HP. - !~**[Long Mace](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=1525)**~! We use this to reduce incoming ranged damage. Magic damage such as Storm Gust, Jupitel Thunder, and even Boss skills such as Earthquake all count as ranged. - !~**[Healing Staff](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=1625)+8/9**~! This one is not necessary but it is a good improvement on your healing capabilities, especially if you decide to take a low amount of INT. It also increases the amount healed by Sanctuary. - !~**[Speedy Recovery Wand](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=1635)**~! Decreasing your after-cast delay is one of the most important improvements you can get as a Priest, and this wand gives you 15% to that. Unfortunately this comes from BattleGrounds and you need to grind them for it. - !~**[Unarmed](https://irowiki.org/classic/ASPD#BTBA_(Base_Time_Between_Attacks_(seconds)))**~! Under the right conditions sometimes it is better to simply unequip your weapon, as the attack speed gained from doing so allows you to spam your skills at a much, much faster rate than you would normally be able to. For example, if you are under the effects of a particularly good Bard's Poem of Bragi while also affected by their Assassin Cross of Sunset song. >Shield - !~**[Valkyrja's Shield[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2115) with [Anti-Racial](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=&iname=&itype=6&iclass=32&islot_sign=-1&islot=-1&ij%5B+%5D=-1&iju=-1&idesc=&iscript=bonus2+bSubRace%2C&i_ele=-1&i_status=-1&i_race=-1&i_bonus=-1&icfix=&sort_r=0&sort_o=0&isearch=Search)/[Horn](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4045)/[Medusa](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4124)/[Alice](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4253)**~! Valk Shield provides us with a very nice 20% additional resistance to Water, Fire, Shadow and Undead element attacks, while also having the option to combo with Fricca's Circlet for increased Hard MDEF. - !~**[Stone Buckler[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2114)/[Orleans' Server[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2123) with [Anti-Racial](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=&iname=&itype=6&iclass=32&islot_sign=-1&islot=-1&ij%5B+%5D=-1&iju=-1&idesc=&iscript=bonus2+bSubRace%2C&i_ele=-1&i_status=-1&i_race=-1&i_bonus=-1&icfix=&sort_r=0&sort_o=0&isearch=Search) or [Hodremlin](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4413)/[Horn](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4045)/[Medusa](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4124)/[Alice](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4253)**~! Stone Buckler grants us an additional 5% resistance against Large sized enemies, which most MvPs and dangerous monsters are, while also having the option to combo with Odin's Blessing and Magni's Cap for a further Hard DEF/MDEF boost. Orleans' Server is an option here over Stone Buckler if you're not using the Odin/Magni combo as it provides higher Hard DEF at base value while also comboing with Orleans' Gloves for a 10% increase in Cast Speed. Medusa Card grants us immunity to Stone Curse while not incurring in the Evil Druid Card's downsides. This also provides us with an extra 15% reduced damage from Demon monsters. The Hodremlin Card is a good all-around Anti-Size card which also gives us a chance of getting +30 Perfect Dodge for 10 seconds. The Horn Card provides us with a very nice 35% damage reduction to long-range attacks, and in Bossing scenarios this will be the preferred choice if you don't have access to an Alice Card, since most of the damage you'll be taking will be from a long distance away. >Headgear - !~**[Apple of Archer](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2285) or [Ulle's Cap[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=5123) with [Blue Acidus](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4279)/[Nightmare](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4127)**~! While Apple of Archer does provide us with +3 DEX, it does not have any base DEF. Ulle's Cap will be the preferred option here as it gives us DEF, has a slot and it combos with Odin's Blessing for a reduction to the cost of our skills. Nightmare Card is an option here as Sleep is one of the only Status Effects that will affect us once we get enough VIT to become immune to the rest. - !~**[Magni's Cap](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=5122)**~! Great base DEF and it combos with Odin's Blessing for even more. - !~**[Drooping Cat](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=5058)**~! +15 Hard MDEF while also giving us a small resistance to Curse status. Only really use this if you know most of the damage you'll be taking is magical, as the base DEF is almost null. - !~**[Beret](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=5172)/[Feather Beret](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=5170)/[Poo Poo hat](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2289)**~! 10% reduced damage from Demi-Human monsters, which include other players. Beret and Poopoo hat don't have any additional DEF and can't be upgraded, while Feather Beret has 1 DEF/MDEF at base at it can be upgraded for a further DEF boost. Bear in mind there's a 10% chance of failing to make the Feather Beret if you decide to hunt it on your own. - !~**[Opera Mask](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2281) (Mid+lower)**~! As we don't have slotted sunglasses on our server, this is just about the best option for us. 2 Hard DEF goes a long way still. - !~**[Fricca's Circlet](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=5124)**~! You can achieve a large amount of MDEF with this, but just as the Drooping Cat, you only really go with this if you know most of the damage you'll be taking is magical. - !~**[Biretta[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2217)/[Circlet[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2233)**~! Good defensive options with available slots. Both of these can be slotted via the [Socket Enchant NPC](https://ratemyserver.net/socket_enchant.php) for 200k a try with a 25% chance of succeeding. - !~**[Anti-Elemental Cards](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=&iname=&itype=6&iclass=769&islot_sign=-1&islot=-1&ij%5B+%5D=-1&iju=-1&idesc=&iscript=bSubEle&i_ele=-1&i_status=-1&i_race=-1&i_bonus=-1&icfix=&sort_r=0&sort_o=0&isearch=Search)**~! These cards can grant an additional 10%~15% (20% in our server) resistance to the four main elements plus Shadow and Undead. Among these, the **[Giearth Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4087)** in particular provides us with immunity to the Confusion status, as well as its 20% resistance to the Earth element. >Armour - !~**[Orlean's Gown[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2365) with [Bathory](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4119)**~! This is a matter of tastes and convenience. Orleans' Gown provides us with the elusive 'Casts can't be interrupted' modifier, while also being the item whose penalty to Cast Speed is the lowest, at 15%. The Bathory Card is here as it's the preferred option in dungeons such as Nameless Island, as it grants us immunity to many nasty Shadow property attacks, especially those coming from MvPs. - !~**[Silk Robe[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2322)/[Saint's Robe[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2326) with [Marc](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4105)**~! Marc Card can go into a number of different Armour, but we take Silk Robe from the assumption that any hit that would freeze us is Magic-based. - !~**[Odin's Blessing[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2353) with [Pest](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4315)/[Peco Peco](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4031)**~! Pest Card is a good option for controlling the amount of enemies that are hitting you, as it auto-casts Stone Curse on them, while Peco Peco increases our Max HP, allowing us to tank nasty hits. - !~**[Sprint Mail[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2387)**~! This is mostly meant to be taken along with the entire Sprint Set, but even still, the additional +3% to Heal is equivalent to 2 additional refines on your Healing Staff. - !~**[Holy Robe[0]/[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2327)**~! This armour grants us 15% damage resistance against Demon race monsters and an additional 10% resistance to the Shadow property element. The slotted version comes from the socket enchant NPC, but it only has a 5% of succeeding and every try costs 1 million zeny, with the item breaking if it fails. Not really worth unless you want to gamble. - !~**[Elemental Carded Armours](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=&iname=&itype=6&iclass=16&islot_sign=-1&islot=-1&ij%5B+%5D=-1&iju=-1&idesc=&iscript=bDefEle%2CEle&i_ele=-1&i_status=-1&i_race=-1&i_bonus=-1&icfix=&sort_r=0&sort_o=0&isearch=Search)**~! **[Pasana Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4099)** for Thor's Volcano. **[Swordfish Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4089)** can be useful to tank Drake, likewise **[Dokebi Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4098)** will work for Mistress. **[Evil Druid Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4141)** can be used to great effect to prevent both Freeze and Stone Curse, bear in mind you won't be able to use Heal on yourself. **[Argiope Card](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4114)** can be used in PvP to obtain immunity against Assassins that have used Enchant Poison on themselves. >Footwear - !~**[Tidal Shoes[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2424) with [Verit](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4107)/[Sohee](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4100)/[Green Ferus](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4381)/[Gold Acidus](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4378)**~! An extra 5% resistance to Water attacks and if coupled with Wool Scarf, Tidal Shoes will provide us with an extra 10% Max HP. The preferred choice will always be Green Ferus, as it gives us another 10% Max HP bonus, while also adding a further point of VIT, but cards such as Verit, Gold Acidus and even Matyr are acceptable here. - !~**[Sprint Shoes[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2440)**~! By itself this doesn't provide us with much, but it's a necessary part of the Sprint Set. - !~**[High Fashion Sandals[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2422)**~! Just as the Drooping Cat/Freya's Circlet, this is here for the MDEF option. - !~**[Vidar's Boots](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2418)**~! A nice budget option to a carded Tidal Shoes, providing us with 9% to Max HP and SP at base. This can be combined with Vali's Manteau and an Odin's Blessing for further bonuses to VIT. >Garment - !~**[Wool Scarf[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2528) with [Raydric](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4133)/[Noxious](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4334)**~! Wool Scarf will be the preferred choice here as it combos with Tidal Shoes for an increase in our Max HP, with Raydric as a card choice for its defensive capabilities. While Noxious is an overall lower decrease in damage, it will also work against most elemental magic, as they are considered Long-Range. - !~**[Diabolus Manteau[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2537)**~! Great choice to go with if you don't pick the Wool+Tidal combo, as they provide better DEF at base, 5% resistance to Neutral property and extra Max HP. Will require team effort to farm. - !~**[Vali's Manteau](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2517)**~! A nice budget option if we don't have access to a Raydric Card, as it give us 15% resistance to Neutral attacks. >Accessories - !~**[Rosaries[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2626) with [Alligator](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4252)/[Yoyo](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4051) x2**~! Rosaries are the choice here for both Alligator and Yoyo as the little bit of bonus MDEF and LUK can both protect us from magic attacks and take us closer into the next Perfect Dodge threshold. When tanking, you can see Yoyo cards as effectively giving you an extra defensive layer and it combos well with the use of Safety Wall, as any hit that's avoided by Perfect Dodge will not reduce the hit count of the wall. - !~**[Expert Rings[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2703)**~! Just as the Speedy Recovery Wand, this item will decrease our after-cast delay by 5% for each ring. The only downside being an increase in the SP cost of our skills, but since we have increased SP Recovery, this penalty is almost non-existent here. They also have slots, so you can compound Zerom cards into them for better casting speeds. - !~**[Safety Rings](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2615)**~! 3 Hard DEF and 3 Hard MDEF for each of them, no questions asked. This is quite a nice bonus to your DEF, especially so when you start to overupgrade your equipment, as each point of DEF is more effective than the last in decreasing the damage taken. - !~**[Clip[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2607) with [PoPoring](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4033)**~! Not necessary to have but it's a nice option. This lets you cast the Thief's skill Detoxify which cures the target from Poison. - !~**[Glove[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2624)/[Orleans' Glove[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2785) with [Zerom](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4064)**~! We take these along with Zerom card for their DEX bonuses. Orleans' Glove in particular can combo with Orleans' Server for a further reduction in cast speed. - !~**[Eye of Dullahan](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2614)**~! Reduces the damage taken from both Undead and Demon race monsters by 4% each, while also providing immunity to the Poison status for yourself. A nice option if you don't have 100 total VIT. - !~**[Sprint Ring](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2744)**~! While the text may say it increases the after-cast delay, the actual script is the same as the Speedy Recovery Wand and Expert Rings, reducing our after-cast delay. With the entire combo you're looking at 13% reduced cast time, 20% reduced after-cast delay and a bonus 7% to Max HP and SP - !~**[Diabolus Rings[1]](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2729)**~! Increases Max HP and Max SP by a flat 100 each while also giving you a 5% increase to your Heal amount. - !~**[Spiritual Ring](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2677)**~! Although this is an MvP item, were you to happen to come across one, you can use it along either a Clip or Rosary to boost the damage your Heal does against Undead property monsters by a whooping 50%. When further combined with the **[Divine Cross](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=2001)** Two-Handed Staff, it also provides you with 25% reduced damage from Demon and Undead race monsters. Aside from the Spiritual Ring, this combo is a very good entry level equipment set for Priests going with Magnus Exorcismus. ### Other useful cards - !~**Priest Combo : [Cookie](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4293)+[Seal](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4312)+[Goat](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4150)+[Rideword](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4185)**~! In our server we have this new combo set of cards, exclusive for us Priests, taking up the Weapon, Headgear, Armour and Accessory slots. The extra bonus from having the entire set is: INT + 6, MaxHP +500, +10% MATK, 3% chance of auto-casting Lv5 Signum Crucis when attacking, +10% damage with Magnus Exorcismus, -10% after-cast delay and Uninterruptible Cast Time. By having this set along with the Sprint Set, you can achieve a very nice 30% decrease in your after-cast delay, which is exactly the same amount provided by the MvP Card !~**[Kiel-D-01](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4403)**~! - !~**[Stapo](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4424)**~! Stapo Card grants you the Thief's skills Pick Stone and Throw Stone. Throw Stone is an instant ranged physical skill that lets you hit things at a distance in order to get their attention. In PvP settings it will allow you to quickly interrupt the casting of opposing players. Ignores the target's flee and has a chance to Stun, but it does not carry over other status cards from your weapon such as Skeleton or Plankton, unfortunately. - !~**[Marine Sphere](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4084)**~! Grants you the Swordsman's skill Magnum Break. Mostly a PvP oriented card, this is one of the few skills that can bring a Stalker from out of Stealth/Chase Walk. Pay attention to the ground, as Stalkers leave a trail of footprints when walking while under that skill. - !~**[Smokie](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4044)**~! Grants you the ability to use Hide. Another mostly PvP oriented card, although it does have its uses in PvE, where you can avoid a few skills from reaching you if timed correctly. - !~**[Phen](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4077)/[Bloody Butterfly](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&item_id=4327)**~! Both of these cards grant you with the modifier 'Casts can't be interrupted'. And while Bloody Butterfly's penalty is higher than the Phen Card, if you use the method commonly referred to as 'Phen Switching' you won't actually see any increase in your casting time. This technique consists in having 2 clips in your inventory and any other accessory in the right equipment slot, one clip will have Phen, and the other can have anything. First you equip the clip that doesn't have the Phen in it and cast any skill with a long cast time, as soon as you do, you switch to the Phen clip via your skill bar, by doing this you will gain the benefits of the card while not having any penalties to your casting speed. This is more oriented to players going with Magnus Exorcismus, but it can still come in handy to know. ## Setting up your Screen ### ->Setting up the Party Window<- By pressing ALT+Z on your keyboard you will bring up the Party Window, this is probably the most important window you can have open, as you are able to target allies with your skills directly from here by clicking on their names instead of selecting their character sprites. ->![Party Window](https://i.imgur.com/9BSiVk9.png)<- - 1.- Clicking this option will open up the Party Configuration tab. If you're the Party Leader, make sure the item and experience share are set to Even Share. - 2.- Clicking this option will lock the Party Window, preventing you from accidentally opening up a chat window when clicking on an party member's name. However, this option needs to be unlocked for the next part. ->![Dragging Outside](https://i.imgur.com/vAwo4FY.png)<- - If you click and drag a Party Member's name out of this window, they will appear floating around in your screen. You can either do this for the entire party in order to have better visibility, or only for a few key members that warrant your focused attention. By clicking on the Lock option once again, you prevent these small tabs from moving around. You can remove any of these small tabs by right clicking on one and selecting 'Remove small party window' ### ->Setting up a specialized Chat Window<- ->![Chat Window Options](https://i.imgur.com/uD9SnsP.png)<- - Press the Lock icon to open up the Chat Window options. - By pressing the '+' icon, you will create a new Chat Window with all options turned off by default. If the Lock option is open, you can drag and drop this window wherever you like. - The most important option you want here is turning ON 'Party member's abnormal status'. Make sure you turn this option OFF in your main chat window. Having these two chat windows separated will make it so the skill message spam will not accidentally make you miss an important Party/Guild message on your main chat window. You can also turn on other options such as 'Party member's obtained items', but this is up to you. ->![Settings](https://i.imgur.com/Wl60Jis.png)<- - Setting it up like this will also make it easier to know when a Party Member's buff has run out and needs to be refreshed. ->![Split Chats](https://i.imgur.com/L0XKa50.png)<- ### ->Setting up the Skill Bar<- - By pressing F12 repeatedly you can bring out your skill bar and increase the number of rows you can see at any time. By default the skill bar uses F1 through F9 for skills, but in this server we have it set it up automatically to use the rest of the keyboard. Nevertheless you can remap these keys by first pressing ESC and then selecting BM/Shortcut Settings. - If you wish to have your skill bar open at all times while still retaining some visibility, you can use a transparent skin to achieve the effect shown below. ->![Transparent Skin](https://i.imgur.com/UQESWyj.png)<- ->[Download Link](https://files.catbox.moe/s4nigi.7z)<- - Simply extract that folder inside your 'Ragnav 3\Ragnarok\skin' folder. Then inside your game press ESC > Game Settings > Skin > transparent (You probably need to restart the game for it to register there) ## General Tips - Pressing ALT+M on your keyboard opens up your shortcut list. While this list is setup to only contain emotes, you can also set up any of the /commands down below like /where or /memo, @commands such as @showexp, or even a simple phrase. - As a rule of thumb, always buff yourself first when buffing the party. This allows you to know exactly when the buffs need to be refreshed while keeping the downtime of their effect at an absolute minimum. - While in a party, it is recommended to carry at least 1 Yggdrassil Leaf even if you yourself have Resurrection, as even while dead on the floor you are able to trade with players. - Equipment can also be set onto your skill bar, this makes it easier to quickly change between items with a single key press. - Always carry Green Potions with you. - Make sure any buff you attempt to cast actually lands, as the terrain in some dungeons might prevent you from having a clean line between you and your target. For this reason it is good to always reposition yourself while supporting. ### Useful Commands - /h : Displays all available commands - /showname : Will make it so that you can see the actual HP values of an enemy. - /quake : Disables the screen shake from skills such as Critical Explosion - /mineffect : Simplifies the skill effects for better visibility - /where : Shows your current location with coordinates included - /memo : Sets your current location as a Warp Point for Warp Portal - /organize [PartyName] : To quickly organize a party - /invite [CharName] : To send an invitation regardless of your or their location - /ns : Turns On/Off NoShift, depending on the situation you'll want it turned On or Off - /nc : Turns On/Off NoControl. Having this on makes it so you continually attack a monster until you click away. In case of accidentally clicking on something, you want this turned off. ## Dogfucking (Anubis Farming) This is only meant to be followed if you absolutely wish to level to High Priest as fast as possible while Solo. - As an Acolyte you will level exactly the same way as a regular Acolyte, dumping all your points into INT while healbombing things. The general path you may follow includes: - Spores until you can get Heal - Zombie / Skeleton until you can cast a few Heals without running out of SP - Orc Zombie / Orc Skeleton until your Heal reaches 1000~ - Zombie Prisoners. These drop Elunium, are slow and will grant you with their card for extra EXP against them if you're lucky. - Firelock Soldier. Requires doing Amatsu Quest, but can be safely tanked by simply using Pneuma. The area is a bit cancer to navigate and the sneaky Shinobi here and there might get you while trying to kill the Firelocks. - Both Zombie Prisoners and Firelocks will work until you reach Priesthood. Here comes the controversial build, and you can do this as soon as you turn Priest (Level 65~) - We will make use of several skills at our disposal to completely shut down an Anubis. - Since Anubises are Undead element, they can be Silenced, Blinded and Offensively Blessed. ->![Anubis' Hit Stat](https://i.imgur.com/sFcWkrz.png)<- - As you can see from the above, for a normal Anubis you wold need 227 total Flee in order to avoid 95% of their attacks (which is the maximum chance). An Offensively Blessed Anubis requires 189 Flee for 95% avoidance chance. And an Offensively Blessed AND Blinded Anubis requires only 164 Flee to reach the same chance. - To reach 164 Flee with nothing on you except for an !~**[Undershirt and Pantie](https://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=item_db&comid=52)**~! combo, at level 65 and buffed with Increase Agility, you would only need a base AGI of 71, leaving you with enough points to grab 30 INT and 50 DEX. - The downside of this strategy is that you have to : Open up with Blessing, immediately follow with Status Recovery and then Silence with Lex Divina. If you do so like that, you can safely start trying to kill it with Turn Undead, which will have a 30% chance of instantly killing it with the above stats. The good part however, is that you are able to kill them at such a low level, that every kill until level 70 or so will mean an entire level worth of EXP, and as soon as you can get more levels and your flee keeps gradually increasing to the 180~190s range, you can drop Lex Divina first and then Status Recovery, as you will reach 95% chance to dodge with just Blessing, making the process of killing Anubis faster by simply opening with Bless and then immediately casting TU. - A useful tip to know in case you do this, is that when an Anubis is both Silenced and Blinded, if the Blind on them runs out while it is still Silenced, the sound effect for Silence will trigger once again, letting you know that Blind has run out and needs to be reapplied with Status Recovery. - Note: The chance to apply Blind with Status Recovery is not 100%, make sure to confirm it's applied by listening to the sound effects. Example : http://pomf2.lain.la/f/6w0n2c9h.webm - At 0:04, getting hit without any debuffs on the Anubis. - At 0:08, using Bless on it already gives us a 70.54% chance to flee, letting us avoid the Sonic Blow - At 0:16, using Status Recovery on it causes Blind, achieving 95% flee against it. - At 0:23, using Lex Divina causes Silence on it, both Blind and Silence sound effects trigger at the same time. - At 0:39, the effect of Blind runs out, causing the sound effect for Silence to trigger on its own. - At 0:42, Status Recovery fails to land Blind, as no sound effect comes after it. - At 0:45, Status Recovery lands Blind this time, triggering both Blind and Silence sound effects. - This means that you will no longer need to Teleport away from an Anubis that's accompanied by other mobs. You see one Anubis, you kill it. You can even fight 3 or 4 Anubises at the same time while not having to worry too much about getting hit, this results in you getting more EXP per hour. Example : https://files.catbox.moe/mzljeq.webm [Mirror](http://pomf2.lain.la/f/pxdfurxl.webm) ->**Recommended skills to take against Anubis**<- - Gloria Lv5 - Magnificat Lv5 - Kyrie Eleison Lv10 - Turn Undead Lv10 - Lex Divina Lv5 - Status Recovery Lv1 Not much different from the Full Support approach, except we take Kyrie Eleison to 10, which grants us another layer of defense in case one lucky hit gets through, and Magnificat/Gloria to max so as to not waste too much time refreshing these buffs. *** ->Thanks to: -> ->Anonymous /v/ poster #688034459 -> ->Anonymous /v/ poster #687845982 -> ->for their critiques->
