They now give +1 Stat Level rather than a Point. ## Page 3 > Perks: Revamped the explanation of Potentials Perks are characteristics of your character and will define them as much as Adventures will. Perks have three levels: The baseline, is automatically unlocked by buying a perk. The Potential 1, requires a type of unlocking to be brought right off the gate. Those unlockings are typically granted by Adventures and your Class, such as Grown Up. Potential 2 cannot be acquired normally, requiring hard work and effort to be unlocked. You can acquire Potential 1 of a skill even if you have not unlocked it by simply training, though it will take time. With an Unlocking of a Perk Potential, you need to buy it twice to get the Potential 1 immediately. Otherwise, it will just make it easier to get to Potential 1. Grown Ups cannot reach past potential 1. > Combat and Esper Perks: Made it clear that you get an Esper or Combat Point every 2 choices, with potentials counting as a second perk: EVERY 2 COMBAT/ESPER PERKS (POTENTIAL 1 ARE INCLUDED AS A 2ND PERK) GRANTS +1 COMBAT/ESPER POINT >Streamlined Extraordinary and Self Perfection to show they have Limits Breaks as well.
