This is an experimental pseudo-football series that is meant to fill the gap that takes place in between the various **VT LEAGUES**. This is done via a program known as **xkoranate**. All of the teams that participate in this "event" were named and designed by, and for, the /pink/ thread on the /vt/ board of the site known as 4chan. All the teams and potential players are fictional and do not represent actual teams or ip's. ###FORMAT > work in progress Like regular football, the series is divided into a series of "leagues" of which the teams will compete for the top spot. Unlike regular football, due to the quick nature a league can be played out, there are multiple leagues in the schedule over the timespan of a month. The placements of each of the teams in the league will contribute to an overall "score" which will then determine the winner of the series. Current point distribution looks like this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FTUKydXnfMOdi-fhCxF2H9_RGLlD_InD4qYEtyTJPws/ Points are allocated to every team at the end of a league. Every team wins 3 points for winning a match, 1 point for drawing, and 0 for losing. These play out in groups to determine which teams make it to the Round of 16. Each group is divided into 8 teams, and the number of groups is determined by the amount of teams playing in a league. All of the top four teams of a group pass into the Round of 16, and all the bottom four teams are eliminated. The Round of 16 is a single elimination tournament. If the teams are drawn during the Ro16 then a penalties match will play until either team wins. The penalties will be done via a simple d12 roll every shot, where if the roll is above 6 the shot goes in, and bellow it's either misses or is blocked. The first league of every series is done via 1 pot, while the rest are done via pots based off of standings at the time. Teams with bigger standings are put into the tops of the pots, and this continues all the way down the standings. The team which wins the league before automatically gets put into the first slot of pot 1, while the rest are slotted via a snaking pattern across the pots. If new teams are added after a league has already concluded then they are added into the last pot with 0 points on the standings. If there is a group that couldn't be filled with the number of teams, then a playoff is initiated for the next group over (if E can't be filled, playoff for F). Every teams gets 1 point for simply participating in the league. ###XKORANATE? AND MATH xkoranate a scorinator with a variety of sports, though this series will primarily be using association football as its sport. A Scorinator is a program designed to give scoring to a programed match with a variety of code to pump out a simulated result. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lK6WRiBQ8NwA2805JFJuG_ELDM_JHd-HUbc1XdD9dg4/ All the games in this series will be done via this program. While players are not specifically needed for this program to function, any teams with players attached to them will have their goals attributed to them via dice roll. Other events such as yellow, or red, cards and own goals will be done via dice roll as well. > all of this is subject to change For the specifics, a d30 will be rolled within every match. If a number above 16 is rolled then a event will play out, thus leading into a roll of a d15. If a number between 1 - 9 is rolled, a foul happens. If a number between 10 - 13 rolls then a yellow comes out. If a number between 14 - 15 rolls then a own goal is played out. If a foul happens, a d100 is rolled. If a number between 20-40 is rolled, then a red card comes out. If a number between 41 - 89 is rolled, then ??? happens. If a number between 90-100 is rolled, then penalty kick is simulated. A coin is flipped twice to see if it results in a goal, if it hits heads twice then it does. Every team has a maxed out skill, and their style is determined via a d5 roll (unless specifically asked for one). A team with a red, or two yellow cards in a group, will go down by 0.2 skill. ###SCHEDULE The schedule for the pinks series will be broken down into 5 "main leagues" and 5 "minor leagues". Because the average /pink/ thread lasts around four days, the time in-between the group stage and the round of 16 would merely go from one thread to another (1-2-3 style). This also means that the faster a /pink/ thread is, the faster the leagues proceeds on the schedule. Another thread or two will be the separator between leagues. The draw will take place on the *same thread as the group stage*, and the same for the round of 16. Calculations estimate that the average series would take place during the timespan of around **(?)** days, or a little under (?) months. This is using the 4 day average, and will most likely be shorter than this benchmark. During the group stage, groups will be done via alphabetical order and fully completed before moving onto the next group. This means 12 matches of games would be calculated before moving on. So if there were 23 teams, there would be around 276 games in a league. 2760 for a whole series. A test league will be conducted before the first pink series is announced, with the results bellow; ~~put test league here~~
